Kit's Cake at the Cub Scouts Blue and Gold Banquet

Kit's Boy Scout Camp Cake

Kit's Cake

Kit was determined to win a ribbon or a contest. When he heard about the cake making contest at the Cub Scouts Blue and Gold Banquet held at St. Paul, Des Peres, he was very determined that he would make a cake that would win him a prize. He actually conceived of the idea himself and nearly made the entire cake himself. He was a little disappointed that his pinewood durby car did not win a prize, although it was the best car he had made, its rear axle was slightly off and went slow. In any case, his cake won most original design. He won a clock radio, which made him very happy. On the way home, Kit said, "This is the first context I've won. It is my first prize." His sister also had fun dancing to BabaLoo (http://www.babaloomusicandfun.com) -- see the video below.
