The first thesis of Martin Luther's Ninety-Five Theses says, "When our Lord and Master Jesus Christ said, 'Repent,' he will the entire life of believers to be one of repentance." The theme of Ash Wednesday and Lent is repentance. Every Reformation and renewal of the church has begun with repentance. May this Lent be a time of repentance, renewal, and Reformation for the church.
